Las Vegas Baby

I’d heard a lot about Vegas, and had seen it many times in films. I didn’t really know what to expect at all beyond the usual expectations of casinos and wild partying! I’d heard negative and positive things but kept my mind open to create my own opinion.

Las Vegas, often known simply as Vegas, is the 25th-most populous city in the United States, the most populous city in the state of Nevada, and the county seat of Clark County.

There are a lot of enormous casinos, and gambling of course, but it also has a lot of other things you can do. There is something for all tastes in Vegas. Walking through the casinos is amazing. There are fine restaurants, designer shops, hotels, pool parties, and night life – all you need in one place!

You don’t have to get high on the alcohol and gambling (although nothing wrong with that if that’s what you’re into!). You could always go to a show – there are very many, or just walk around the main strip, seeing the lights is fun, too.

I managed to go to a great show called Rupaul’s Drag Race. It was amazing and definitely well worth seeing! It was at the Flamingo.

Walking around was fun, too! The temperature was over 40c/104f (thank goodness for air conditioning!), I did most of my sightseeing in the evening.

I actually want to go back to Vegas and explore more of it. I really had fun there!
