In the southern part of Spain, in the region of Andalucia you will find the beautiful city of Seville. Famous for Flamenco dancing, and stunning Gothic architecture, Seville is bursting with antique charm.
Seville is universally famous for being a joyous town. While the Sevillians are known for their wit and sparkle, the city itself is striking for its vitality. It is the largest town in Southern Spain, for me this is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain.
The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See, better known as Seville Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Seville.
Seville is a great city to explore on foot, everywhere you go you will find pretty buildings with interesting designs, and detailed architecture.
The Alcazar palace is renowned as one of the most beautiful in Spain, being regarded as one of the most outstanding examples of Mudéjar architecture found on the Iberian Peninsula. The upper levels of the Alcázar are still used by the royal family as the official Seville residence and are administered by the Patrimonio Nacional
The Plaza de toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla is a 12,000-capacity bullring in Seville, Spain. During the annual Seville Fair, it is the site of one of the most well-known bullfighting festivals in the world. I didn’t actually see any Touradas because I don’t really think it’s nice, but I went to visit the arena.
I really enjoyed my time in this interesting city. It was a bit of a last minute holiday for me, but I’m glad I had the opportunity to visit.
What a beautiful city! Aged architecture has such character. 😊❤️

A wonderful collection including a variety of beautiful places in Seville. I liked the church and the natural wonders. The maze of bushes was bright and made me smile. ~ Robin

Beautiful pictures! Seville is very picturesque. I remember seeing the Alcazar palace when I visited and took lots of pictures but none turned out as good as yours – I think it never rains as the sun is always shining in your photos. 🙂

Consistently great stuff, as always. Thanks for your like on my “First and Ten” poem. I trust your taste to get me on track. A little self-awareness never hurts me. It’s about personal growth, you think? And I definitely need a new monitor! Thanks.

Sevilla is on my bucket list. Even more so now. I visited Barcelona, Girona and Madrid in 2016 but never made it to Sevilla. I will definitely be returning for more of Spain

What a great post. I live in Seville and you have really described it well and taken some super photos all while in a snazzy shirt. It’s a shame you’re not here now because Semana Santa is coming up and that’s spectacular. Thanks for the great post.
