Just Czeching Out Prague!

This city is like a fairytale. Everywhere you turn is beautiful. It’s impossible to take a bad picture. It’s full of tourists, but it’s worth it.

I simply adore going to Prague, everywhere you look shines. This time I went to a side of the city that I’ve never explored before. I went up the hill to the monastery and palace.

With its ancient buildings and magnificent churches, this is one of the most beautiful historical sights in Europe. It’s like walking back through centuries. Over the years, buildings of Romanesque, Baroque and Gothic styles were erected around the market, each bringing with them stories of wealthy merchants and political intrigue. The Old Town Square dates from the 12th century and started life as the central marketplace for Prague.

When visiting Europe this should be on the top of the list of cities to visit.

  1. Wow such beautiful pictures, it almost looks like that tall gothic tower is part of a bridge, everytime I see a picture of Prauge I definately find it looks like a fairytail. As a Canadian we often see shots of Prauge when there is major world junior hockey tournament on tv. The Chezech Republic is almost into hockey as much as Canadians.

      1. We were there a few years back in February and loved it so much we had booked to go in 2020. Yes. So that never happened. When things sort of reopened here we saw a great deal and bagged it, so fingers are crossed for May.

  2. Oh yeah. We can’t wait to get back. Last week it got cancelled cos flights got pulled. Not enough people apparently but I know that was the case sometimes with budget airlines before all this. But we got it sorted by staying another night …such a hardship…
