Colours of Brighton!

Brighton is one of the closest seaside towns to London. Only about an hour away by train, you’re in this amazing colourful city full of surprises. This city is famous for having one of the most iconic and unusual palaces in the country, is considered the green capital of Britain, and ABBA won the Eurovision song contest here!

The iconic palace: the Brighton Pavilion.

Brighton has spectacular graffiti and street art. I was surprised to see that the city was very colourful. Everywhere you look and turn there always a beautiful display of art. I managed to capture some of them, even though I only had one day around the city, and had to take advantage of the British weather which is always very unpredictable.

There are a lot of things to do in Brighton, but if you’re feeling a bit relaxed the beach is the place to be. There are plenty of cafes, bars, and restaurants to visit. It’s a very busy and popular spot. A lot of Londoners come here to enjoy and have fun, as it is not very far away.

Brighton is definitely one of my favourite destinations. If you happen to be in London, and the weather is nice and sunny, you could take a side trip to this city.

  1. It is a shame that I did not get to see these sights in Brighton when I last visited. Instead, I saw a pebbled beach, the pier and walking through cobbled paths to visit the quaint old shops as if transported back to the days of Dicken and Oliver Twist! A really charming place Brighton is!
