Kuala Lumpur is the capital of Malaysia. The city skyline is dominated by the famous Petronas Towers. The Petronas Twin Towers, are a pair of glass-and-steel-clad skyscrapers with Islamic motifs.
Petronas Twin Towers were once the tallest buildings in the world. Now the world’s tallest twin structures, the 88-storey buildings were designed by Cesar Pelli & Associates with both towers joined at the 41st and 42nd floors (175m above street level) by a 58 metre-long, double-decker skybridge.
Stretching out to the side of the Petronas Twin Towers is the spacious and beautifully landscaped KLCC Park which features a jogging track, walking paths, a water fountain and a wading pool for children. Besides the shopping centre and park, the Petronas Twin Towers has a host of other attractions including the Petronas Art Gallery and Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
The Islamic museum is a fascinating place to visit. Lots of good art in there, and in an area close to other attractions. The museum is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s tourist belt amidst the lush greenery of Perdana Botanical Gardens and within walking distance to the National Mosque, Bird Park and National Planetarium.
The Sultan Abdul Samad Building remains an enduring attraction amidst a rapidly changing city skyline. There are several more structures in this area (to the east of Dataran Merdeka) designed by both Anthony C. Norman and A.B. Hubbock: these clusters of buildings form a large part of KL’s Colonial Core and provide a striking counterpoint to the looming Menara KL and stylish Petrona’s Twin Towers.
Among Kuala Lumpur’s earliest Moorish-style buildings, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building is a distinguished city landmark that originally served as the secretariat for the colonial British administration.
This city is amazing and the people are so nice and polite here. I never saw people queuing to get on a train in rush hour anywhere I’ve been, but that’s the case in Kuala Lumpur. I’ll definitely came back to visit this cosmopolitan city.
Looks like u had amazing time there!!I wish to see Petronas tower One day!!

Reading your blog is almost a guarantee to learn something new with every new post. I had no idea that in this far-off country would be located at least until very recently the tallest towers in the world. Thank you also for those amazing photos of Kuala Lumpur!
