Ghostly Gathering: Costumes On Parade!

Ages ago I was invited to Halloween party, and I was looking through my pictures and found some amazing photos of the party. Halloween, or Hallowe’en, also known as Allhalloween, All Hallows’ Eve, or All Saints’ Eve, is a celebration observed in a number of countries on the 31st October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows’ Day.

I grew all these pumpkins in my allotment and was pleased with their sizes. I ended up giving some to my neighbours. I did my first carving and put it in our tree in the front of the house.

Little Margo joining the party, and exploring the pumpkin.

I was quite excited about the party and decided to do a Dracula look. I went quickly to the 99p shop and bought a cape, and some make up, and came up with lots of different looks for the party.

Ian had this amazing horror look, and we didn’t have to spend that much!

At the party we all had great looks and felt really scary. We all made a little bit of effort and it was so much fun! There was a Corpse Bride, Zombie Nurse, Tombstones, and much more…

Omg! I had so much fun. We all kept swapping our garments, and trying different looks and poses. I thought I was actually in some kind of live art show.

At my friend’s house they had this amazing wallpaper which seemed to compliment our scary looks.

We all had a lot of fun. I am not a very halloween person, but I think the whole point of it is to enjoy yourself and have fun!

I really enjoyed all the dressing up. I’m hoping for more halloween parties to come so I’ll have more excuses to dress up!

  1. I’m not quite a Halloween person either but we’re celebrating in the evening, mostly for the kids. The kids here love Halloween and they’ll go from house to house asking for the sweets. Amazing pictures! No doubt you had great fun. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Hahahaha, you looked like you managed to enjoy yourself very much anyway..I don’t celebrate Halloween but I do love it when I get invited to one cos I get to dress up…we don’t have such a culture of doing Halloween parties here though so I’ve only gone to one or two before…enjoy your Halloween today! 🙂
