Carapibus is a beautiful unspoilt beach on the Coast of Conde, in the southern part of the state of Paraiba, northeast of Brazil. The beach stretch is very long, wild, and nearly completely undeveloped.
I stayed in a small pousada (hotel) called Aruanã. We had a beautiful view of the sea front. The most amazing thing was to wake up in the morning with the sound of the waves.
The beautiful blues skies were breathtaking, and the palm trees were impeccable. The view looked like it was painted by hand.
This beach is one of the most beautiful of the northeast of Brazil. It is very easily reached from the state capital João Pessoa, twenty minutes by car or 40 minutes by bus. It has a great barrier of coral that, in periods of low tide form beautiful natural swimming pools where bathers can take advantage of the beauty and tranquility next to the fish and crabs that inhabit the place.
When you walk alongside the beach, there is a little river that connects to the beach. It’s very pretty. You can see some trees by the river margin, which form a swamp. It’s a very interesting spot with a different kind of wildlife.
When I was there walking by the river, I saw a little boat and thought that it was very picturesque. The photography of this area is inexplicable, you will have to go there and experience it for yourself.
The coral, and the rock formations are amazing, especially when the tide is very low. You can appreciate it very closely. It is fascinating how nature created all that.
When I was walking by the beach I saw these cliffs in beautiful vibrant colours. They are permanently changing and eroding through the action of the sea. The waves constantly wear the coast, which causes instability on the rocky wall. This is very common on the coast of the north east of Brazil. They are generally made up of sedimentary or volcanic sedimentary layers.
Some pictures of me here crossing the river on a little ferry boat which takes you all the way to the other side of the river.
I had a great time here. It was such a quiet and unspoilt place to visit. I would come back any time. I hope you enjoy this place. One quote that I thought about when writing this blog was ”The Promised Land always lies on the other side of a Wilderness.” Havelock Ellis.
Just beautiful . Great pictures ,thanks for sharing 🙂

You’re right! It almost looks more like a painting than a photograph. Such colors! It’s nice to know there is such a pure place in this world. 😊

Amazing Beach, with the natural world. I once visited a beach on Lake Ontario which was very large for the Great Lakes, and Sand Dunes. It was also very secluded. It was near Kingston, Ontario on Wolfe Island. Very few people know about this beach. There is also another beach around 120km away that is much more commercial. It also has nice natural beauty but way too many people.

Thanks for this post. Nature is very humbling, awe-inspiring. Some people in the world would want to dominate it and ruin it. Put an espresso stand on the beach. Make a golf course out of it. But you only took a camera with you, and some great images away to share with your readers. Hopefully someday I will be nonalcoholic enough to go some places rootless and free and easy. Take care.
